If you want to make your Mother's Day gifts extra special this Sunday, have we got just the thing. As always, inspired presentation elevates anything it touches... That's a guiding principle for us over here. And we love collaborating with Athena of EyeSwoon; this beauty knows a thing or two about swoon-inducing aesthetics and presentation, that's for sure! We shared a subtle yet striking Mother's Day-friendly wrapping DIY that was inspired by minimalist design and unexpected juxtapositions. And yes, there are plenty of flowers in the mix.
What You'll Need:
- Florals: We selected dried pods and flowers, but you can use anything that has a shape and will not disintegrate upon spray painting. Even foraged leaves will do.
- Scissors
- Ribbon
- A few colors of spray paint in unexpected hues, like the metallics and pastels shown here
- Solid-color wrapping paper as your canvas
- A few fresh-cut florals for added embellishment
