I recently spent a very lovely few hours with a group of gracious hosts; Daphne Oz, Carly Brien of Pressed Juicery, Jenni Kayne and my dear friends Paige + Kelly of Bash Please and Susanne of The Chalkboard Magazine. We visited Carly's house for a feast, a true feast I tell you. A mid-day feast will normally put me straight to bed, but Daphne made some true recipe magic happen from her new book The Happy Cook, and her dishes were light, bright and still truly cozy. I created a gift box inspired by the gathering as well.
